The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce is to be an advocate for the business community, to promote strategic collaborations between our business and community partners, to provide valuable benefits and services to our members and to be a leader for economic development and quality of life efforts in the Shenango Valley.
With more than a dozen municipalities making up the Shenango Valley, it is a charming tapestry of small cities, boroughs and townships. With a broad spectrum of recreational opportunities, a vibrant arts community and budding entrepreneurial initiatives, the Shenango Valley is home to many businesses that anchor our economy. Found here are natural resources like the Shenango River, Buhl Park, and the Shenango Reservoir, all of which contribute to a high quality of life in the valley.
Valley Fab Lab Initiative
The Valley Fab Lab began when Whole Life Services, the Shenango Valley Chamber, and the City of Sharon combined their resources to bring a makerspace to the community. Other initial participants included veterans groups, the Urban League, Random Acts of Artists, and other local entrepreneurs. Laurel Technical Institute provided a space in their facility to house the Fab Lab, and began initial management of the Fab Lab. We are now ready to move forward with this journey so that the community can begin creating.
