Chamber Committees
Members not only add to their personal and professional growth, they help enrich the Shenango Valley Chamber and the community.
Community Affairs Councils
The Shenango Valley is made up of seven municipalities, each represented by a Community Affairs Council. These councils meet and address issues and concerns for their respective community. These councils provide excellent networking opportunities.
Transportation
A wide variety of issues are on the agenda of this council. It is concerned about ground, rail, and air transportation as they relate to both business and to the general public. Items discussed range from the I-80 and PA 60 interchange to railroad crossings to widening of intersections for ease of turning to traffic signals at high volume intersections. A representative of PennDOT sits on this council.
Government Affairs
The Government Affairs Council meets with area legislators, representatives of economic development organizations, and local business leaders in an attempt to facilitate and support efforts to enhance the growth of area businesses; the emphasis of the council is commercial business growth however it does support the efforts of other groups towards manufacturing growth.
